Parents:  Your student will bring home a BLUE TUESDAY FOLDER containing graded work for the week and other important papers from school that need your attention. Please keep all graded papers at home and return the folder (including signed documents and conduct note) to school with your child the following day. Occasionally work is stamped with "Parent signature" and/or "Please correct and return."

Daily Schedule:
7:30 - 8:15    Tutorials (Thurs. - brain based learning)
8:15-9:20      Math
9:20-10:15    Specials
10:15-10:45  Math Review & Fact Fluency
11:45-12:05  Reading Lesson and Reading Groups
12:05-1:05    Lunch & Recess
1:05-2:15      Word Study and Writer's Workshop
2:15-3:00      Social Studies & Science

Homework is optional, and if students choose to complete Homeowork activities, they will be rewarded for their efforts. All homework is to be turned in on Friday morning. When you help your child establish a daily homework routine, you help them develop a good habit that will better prepare them to take on the challenges of each new grade. Guided Reading books will be going home each day in a clear envelope. Please listen to your child read every day in order to help build reading fluency.
